Today we wanted to share with you some tips on pairing fonts that can help you in finding the perfect font combination for any design project.Finding fonts that work in harmony with each other can often be a conundrum especially with so many fonts available to you.The secret to finding fonts that complement each other is to find two fonts that contrast, but don't conflict with one another.Contrasting fonts are fonts that differ dramatically from each other. If you use fonts together that are too similar, they will compete for attention and cause a clashing effect in your design. It's best to allow one font to be the star of the show and then use a complementary font to accent that font.Below you'll find examples of 10 of our favorite font pairs.Notice how each example showcases the main font and then uses a harmonious font as the accent.

I really enjoyed this post Erin, thank you!The imagery is perfection!
I think my favorites would be the Black Diamond or the Mustache paired with such simple, modern sans serif fonts.Gets me every time!

Very nice collection of beautiful fonts, I showed them to my graphics designer and she has already marked buttercup as her favorite and told me to use it on our next project.
